Event
The
Route
A special thanks to the City of
SeaTac and Tyee Educational Center for welcoming
us to their community. Everyone will enjoy the relaxed
atmosphere of this
5K walk (running is optional) through the SeaTac Community.
Walkers will follow a route
through the business district of SeaTac on city streets. The
route chosen will allow walkers to use sidewalks to assure
safety. This new location also assures accessibility for those
with physical limitations, baby strollers and young children.
A rest area will be available
at the mid point with refreshments and rest rooms.
Exhibitors booths along the path will provide a variety of
activities for the kids and information about domestic violence. Security will be provided
on the route to assure everyone's safety.
Registration
Individual and Team
registrations are welcome. Each participant will be required to
pay a $10 registration fee. Participants who also provide $20 or
more in sponsorships (for a total $30) and complete their
registration by October 2 will be eligible for an SOS Domestic
Violence T-shirt and other great prizes.
